the gain through McWilliams, Har

then Lilley made it first down
through right tackle. Ritchie failed
to gain, but Zinc made a beautiful
run of 13 yards through left tackle.
It looked as though he might score
but “Mac” caught him seven yards
from the goal. Kreider plunged
through centre for 2, Lilley made 1
through tackle and Kreider made it
first down.
Both teams were fighting des
perately, but the Sophs were unable
to check the slow but sure advance
of the Freshmen.
Kreider made 1 yard though cen
ter and on the next play Hargest
went through Kunkle for a touch
down. Hohnhart failed at goal.
Time was then called
SECOND HALF
The second half found no changes
in the line up.
Hargest caught “Mac’s” kick off
on the 45 yard line and ran it back
5 yards. Van-Horn made 4 yards
on the first play The Sophs were
then penalized 5 yards for McComb’s
offside play. Van Horn made 1
yard through Wray, Kreider 2
through centre. Honhart punted to
“Mac” who was tackled by Zinc on
the Sophs 50 yard line.
