A Mistake,
In the account of the State —W.
U. P. game the statement was made
that “McGee fumbled on State’s
15 yard line on the first down.”
George denies that he committed
this grievous blunder, so we hasten
to make all apologies for the false
accusation.
Resolutions
Whereas, the Allwise and Merci
ful Father has seen fit to take to
Himself our beloved friend and co
worker, Mrs. Josiah Jackson.
Be it Resolved —that the Woman’s
Literary Club of State College has
sustained a grievous and irreparable
loss in the death of a charter mem
ber, an organizer and leader in pro
gressive ideas, and also a treasured
personal friend; that we extend
our heartfelt sympathy to her be
reaved family.
Resolved —that the Secretary be
instructed to send a copy of these
resolutions to each of the surviving
children and that they be published
in the local papers.
