    PERSONALS
S. E. Miller, 'O3 spent a part of
last week at the College, on his way
to the Williamsport game.
John R. Mundy and W. E. Herbst
ex-’O6 banqueted with the Juniors
in Williamsport last Friday night.
Prof. F. E. Foss made the trip to
the game in his automobile, cover
ing the distance in something over
five hours.
J. M. Nelson, 'O3 is in town and
expects to spend Pennsylvania Day
with us. ‘Joe” is with the J. G.
White Co. of New York.
Dr. F. A. Lorenzo, ex-’O2, who
graduated at Columbia University
last spring, is working up a good
practice at Punxsutawney, Pa.
“Jack” Dallas, ex-’O5, of Philadel
phia, has re-entered Lehigh Univer

to coming here two years ago.
Among those seen on the side
lines at Williamsport last Saturday
were M. E. Heck, J. 0. Noll, and

Captain Forkum.
From the latest advices received
by Coach Golden, Captain Forkum
of the football team is well on the
road to recovery, although it is very
doubtful if he can recover soon
enough to participate in any of the
remaining games of the season. The
victory of the team over Dickinson
was the best tonic in the world for a
man who takes everything to heart
as Forkum does. Without detract
ing one whit from the splendid work
of George McGee on Saturday,
Forkum was sorely missed, and. had
he been in the game, there is no
telling how much larger the score
would have been. We trust that
Captain Forkum will be on hand
next week to lend encouragement to
to the team by his presence, if not
by his example.
States’ Greeting,
Tune - Wilberforce
Sing to greet these friends of State,
Come from far to bring us cheer.
Hearts outpour in songs elate,
Welcome, ever welcome, here.
Greet them, greet them joyously,
Welcome friends of Pennsy State.
Years agone, a little lad
Struggled long for learning’s store,
Came Dame Nature’s message glad,
“Effort brave doth ope my door.”
May his spirif fall on us,
Comrades all at Pennsy State.
Scottish lad, we greet thee, love thee,
Who thy goodness know so well.
Worthy leader ! Follow may we,
Earnest, faithful, shall we dwell.
In devotion’s loyal cause
Constant, true, to Pennsy State.
Greet the sen of Keystone’S west land,
Great-heart alms his laurels swell.
State extends a loving right hand;
Join the ranks, his praises tell.
Greet we both and Albion’s son,
Ever loved of Pennsy State.

The Seniors held their fourth an
nual banquet at Williamsport, Fri
day, Nov. 11th. ’O5 is perhaps the
first class to hold a banquet each
year, but the appetite for good
things which called "them to Sunbury
when Freshmen, still exists and
though in number the last banquet
was not so large, the same class spir
it existed and the usual good .time
was spent. J. F. Johnston, toast
master, called on the following who
responded nobly:
“Athletics” W. R. Dunn
“Our Friends, the Girls” T.H. Arnold
“Yes or No” W. H. Myers'
“Fond Recollections”..H. C.’Offutt
“Farewe11”........ G. L. Christman
