Since 'graduation he has been in the employ of the Fay & Egan Co., of Cincinnati, 0., but owing to continued ill health he was compelled to give up his position about two months ago, and since then has been traveling for the benefit of his health. When he has sufficiently recovered he expects to secure a position in Pittsburg or, thereabouts. Mr. Smith held the commission of captain in the National Guard during the Spanish-American War, but did not engage in active service, as his regiment was not ordered out of the United States. —J. E.
