SOPHOMORES, 1 2-FRESH MEN, 10.
The only class basket ball game of the year was played in the'
Armory, Saturday evening, March 21st, by the Sophomores and
Freshmen teams. Some time ago a ,long list of such games was
announced, but this list .has dwindled to one game. There is not
much class spirit when it comes to basket ball. The game was
without science. It was a grand rush for the ball, Neither side
seemed to have any system of passing—at any rate they did not
use it. Capt. Dunn put up his usual good play, but he did not
seem to be at home in that kind of a game. Capt. Kilmer played
well
,for the Freshmen. All played hard and to such effect that
at no time did the score differ by four points. Both classes were
there in force to cheer their men, and did all in their power to
raise a racket.
After the ganie both teams were treated, at the expense of the
Sophomores, to a hearty repast at the "Palace."
