Candidates for the base ball team reported in the Armory on
Saturday, January 31st and have since been practicing regularly.
About fifty men have 'reported to Captian Rohrbach and the
prospects for a first-class team this year are very bright. Al
most all of last year's team, with one or two exceptions will be
found again in their old positions, but some of them may have
to hustle as the new material is very promising. Among the
best of the new men are Williams, of the Boston National
League team and Mcllveen, both pitchers. Williams may not
be able to play with the Varsity but he will be able to give
them some excellent practice.
