The committee in charge consists of Miles, Little, Yeakle, Chestnut, S. E. Miller, Norris and Snyder. —The Y. M. C. A. entertainment course gave a net balance of 5215.65. The expenses were $244.60. The Association wishes to heartily thank its friends for their liberal support. —Bishop Talbot preached in the chapel Sunday, February Ist. His subject was the visit of the three Wise Men to the Christ, and the significance of the gifts they brought. —The Coit Novelty Company gave a varied program in the chapel Saturday evening, February 7th. Mr. Coit entertained the audience with a line of jokes. The reader, Miss Casterline, was extremely unfortunate in having as her first selection "The Man Without a Country," which was given here by Mrs. Beecher just one week before. The audience was not interested, and she could gain no power over it. Lovers of violin music were gratified by the work of Miss Alexander. One of the chief sources of amusement was the imitation of various common sounds by Mr. McCormick. He excelled in his imitation of a young chicken, which by change of sound he seemed to shut up in a side room or in a, hat.
