    —Prof. George C. Butz was on a lecturing tour before
Farmer's Institute in Clearfield, Clinton and Center Counties,,
during the last of January,
—Dr. William Patterson, of Philadelphia, will visit the col
lege February 18-22, and will be engaged in evangelistic work.
—At a meeting of the senior class December 15th the com
mittee in charge of the Thanksgiving Dance, reported through
its chairman, C. W. Rogers, as follows :

—Prof H. A. Surface delivered three lectures on " Nature
Study in the Public Schools" before the County Teachers'
Institute held in Bellefonte.
He gave, also, a lecture at Sanvar, Clinton Co., January 15th.
His subject was " Birds in their Relation to Agriculture."
—ln honor of, Mrs. F. A. Robinson wife of Dr. F. A. Robinson,
Prof. and Mrs. Butz entertained the 0 A E fraternity on Friday
evening January 9th. Dr. Robinson joined the fraternity in his
college days. Mrs. Robinson is from Pittsburg and though but
a short time in State College seems pleased with her new
home
