The gymnasium is now open every evening, and the
time is divided between special and class work. Saums, a
Sophomore, has charge of the instruction. He is a capable
man in this line, of a good deal of experience in gymnasium
work. Before coming here he had charge of work in the
Y. M. C. A. gymnasium at Wilkesbarre, Pa.
Some new apparatus has been placed in the gymnasium.
Among the new things are a pair of adjustable and movable
parallel bars, a pair of floor parallel bars, a wrist machine,
an ankle machine, and a case of iron dumb-bells. A new
dressing ropm has been added to the old one under the
stage.
