Tlie baseball season for 1901 opened April 13 with a game
with the Bellefonte Athletic Association on the home
grounds. The contest was very one sided, the final score
being- State, 11 ~8. A. A., 1.
The second game was played, April 16, at Selinsg-rove
with Susquehanna University. Sharpe was in the box for
Sophomores 16—Juniors 7.
