Slate 44—Lock Haven Normal 2.
The opening - game of the season was rather more one
sided than had been anticipated. The visitors played good
ball, but they couldn’t keep pace with the swift goal throw
ing of Gephart and Ruble. Lock Haven’s score was made
from offenses. In the second half C. Ruble and Sborigi
creditably filled the places of Gephart and Rider. The line
up:—

The State—Penna game was the most interesting played
here this season. The visitors played fast, but State’s fine
team work did the trick. Stuart had the misfortune to run
into the post which supports the basket during the first half,
just as a Pennsylvania man was trying - for a field goal, and
this interferance gave them a point. The Cadet Band play
ed several selections before the game and between the halves.
