The College dramatic club, “The Thespians,” assisted by the Mandolin Club, has just concluded a brief but very successful season. The plays presented were “Lend Me Five Shillings” and “David Garrick.” The first perfor mance was given at home, Feb. 20, in the College Chapel. The boys met with a most hearty reception, and they de served it, for they presented the plays in a manner which was highly creditable. The plays were more modern than many of those selected by the club in former years, and on this account met with perhaps a more general appreciation. E. T. McCleary in the role of Mr. Golightly and Squire Clnvy was almost faultless. The iollowing morning the amateur actors started on their trip. They played successively at Tyrone, Ridgway, Enporium and Lock Haven. They will be seen at home again during Commencement week.
