    A. A. Gallaway, '9B, is employed in the draughting - room
of the Pittsburg Coal Company, 232 Fifth Avenue, .■ Pitts
burg, Pa.
W. Finley, '99, is engaged in delveloping a large coal
tract in western Tennessee.
W. D. Stevenson, '99, has been with H. W. Johns and
Company, manufacturers of asbestos packing. Pittsburg.
C. B. Snyder, '99, has resigned his former position with
the Union Foundry and Machine Company, of Pittsburg,
and is now with the Wagner Electric Company, St. Louis,
Mo.
W. L. Affelder, '99, after spending - the summer in field
and mine surveying in Armstrong and Allegheny counties,
Pa., for the Pittsburg Plate Glass company, was on Sept. 1,
made superintendent of their Mosgrove Coal Works, Arm
strong county, near Kittanning.
Clay Campbell, 'OO, is to take a vetinary course at the
University of Pennsylvania.
H. D. Plank, 'OO, of the General Electric Company, re
cently received a promotion.
B. C. Brady* 'OO, is with the Montana Ore Purchasing:
Company, Butte, Montana.
H. J. York, 'OO, is at Columbia University studying
medicine.
State easily defeated Susquehanna University in the
opening game of the foot ball season on Beaver, field, Sept.
22nd. The visitors got but one square look at the White and
Blue’s goal. In the second half Spotts, Susquehanna’s
right tackle, secured the leather on a fumble and made a
