agement as yet. Our foot ball team had an exceedingly hard schedule this year, and some of the hardest work came at the'outset. We lost some of our men of last year and al though we have good material among the new men it takes time to get new men to work with the team. The student body should support the team by sending out a larger scrub and also by large delegations-on the side lines. In a few days we have a game to play that must be won. G-ive the team all the encouragement you can in the mean time, and show them that you are interested. We cannot afford to allow BuCknell to win the game this year, and the result depends almost as much on the attitude of the student body during the next week as upon the eleven men who line up on the field. Let every student who can do so go to Williamsport and help in our victory.- An Alumni Number of the Free Lance will be issued soon and all the old men are invited to send some note, sketch, or story to help make it as interesting as it can be made. If each one will consider this a personal invitation to contribute we shall be able to publish a number which will be of special interest to everyone. Let us hear from you, either with a story or any item of interest which you may be able to send. Among the new students there should be some who are able to write stories. Probably there are a number who have done such work before, and there are more who could do it if they should try. We need the help of all the stu dents in order to issue a magazine of any interest and we in vite you to contribute to our columns. 16 $6
