    W. F. White resigned his position as President and
General Manager of The New Omaha Thompson-Houston
Electric Light Company, Omaha, Neb., January Ist, and
moved to Cincinnati, 0., where he has accepted the position
of General Manager of the Cincinnati Edison Electric Com
pany. He was also elected a Director of the latter Company
at its annual meeting in February.
W. .4. Housman has left the Jenkins Rubber Company,
of New York, and has accepted a position with the Press
Steel Car Company, of Alleghany. Pa.
J. W. Miller, Jr., who received the degree M. A. last
year at Columbia, has received a second time the appoint
ment of Fellow and is working for the Doctor's Degree.
Just at present lie is engaged on work with the helical
spring, for which $l5OO has been appropriated by the Uni
versity.
