If the-editors. have appeared "to do it all, ",it is only be
cause they have had to do it. None of them would be guilty
of excluding other articles from publication to make room
for their own. But when students who can write are asked
time and again to contribute, and prizes are even offered,
and then only three articles are written, is it any wonder
that the editors "appear to do it all." As a last remark we
would, therefore, say—help the editors all you can for they
surely need it.
But tis enough. The thirteenth volume has now passed
into history. The unlucky number has appeared upon the
cover for the last time, We, the editors, have already pur
chased our tickets for oblivion. We are ready to go, and
only stop to say good-by; and to express our thanks to all
those who by their advice, criticism, or literary or financial
support have helped us to make the volume what it is; and
to extend our best wishes to our successors, hoping that
their paths may fall in pleasant places.
"And now 'tis done
Deep in your heart you wish us ;one
And we depart."
