STATE, 17 The basket ball season was opened here by State's m lug and defeating Central State Normal, of Lock Ha , Jan. 12, in a hotly contested game. In the first half S clearly outplayed her opponent, but in the second half Normal boys "took a brace' and worked hard to win game. During this half the play was fast and furious, s• clever work being done. Burns was substituted in the and half for Rider, and Hall for Felstein.
