During the fore part of the month, the Junior Electricals entertained the Electrical Club at Cafe Harrison in honor of their recent initation into it. After partaking of the, refreshments, several informal toasts were responded to, causing much merri ment; and all departed well pleased. The State College Literary Club was entertained on Monday evening, Nov. 11, by Prof Osmond. Prof. Willard read a paper entitled, "A Week in a Wood House Chamber," and Prof. Gill spoke of the prescribed course of study in the German Gymnasa. The Bata Theta Pi Fraternity gave a reception and dance at their chapter house, Nov. 24. On November 28, Prof. and Mrs. Leete gave a reception to the Sub-Freshman Class, several members of the Faculty, In structors, and friends of the Class being present. The College choir was also present to enliven the evening with several songs. All who were present proclaimed it a most enjoyable affair. Prof. and Mrs. Griffin entertained a number of their friends on the evening of Thanksgiving day. Assistant Prof. and Mrs. Fehr were also "at home" to many town and College friends on Thanksgiving evening. The usual "Thanksgiving Hop" was given by the Senior Class in the Armory, Dec. 1. The attendance was small, owing to the inclemency of the weather, and a slight misunderstanding as to the absence of engraved invitations.
