25. Leßoy Scholl elected Captain of 1900 football team.
26. Rev. A. S. Woodle, of Altoona, conducted Chapel exer
cises—his text being, "Christ in us the hope of glory."
29. Thanksgiving recess began at noon. Many of the stu
dents took advantage of the vacation, and spent a few
days at their homes.
1. Annual Thanksgiving Hop held in the Armory.
3. Rt. Rev. Ilthelbert Talbot, Bishop of Central Pennsyl
vania, conducted Chapel exercises, his sermon being
greatly enjoyed by all.
7. Drill for the Fall Session suspended.
9. Sophomores won the annual Sophomore—Freshman
football game. Score, 6-0.
10. Chapel exercises were conducted by Prof. Gill, who
chose as his text—" And so we came to Rome." His
sermon was excellent.
11. McCleary, 'Ol, elected Business Manager of the Foot-
ball team for the season of 1800.
15. F i xaminations begin, and then hurrah for vacation, and
a Merry Christmas to you all.
