"Say Critic, old man," exclaimed the Editor, "you
don't suppose I would publish anything like that do you?
No Sir!. Not I. Why you have been blowing the fellows
up all the while, and you have not said a word about the
Faculty.
"Have'nt I?" said the Critic, "Well, then I will."
"0, no, no," exclaimed the Editor, becoming alarmed,
"don't do it this time, for—for—its—its getting awful late."
"Is it," replied the Critic looking at his watch. "Why,
so it is. It's one o'clock. Come, man, its time to go to bed."
"Yes, I guess it is," rejoined the Editor.
So they turned out the lights, and the laughter of their
merry voices was heard echoing through the halls as they
went out into the night together.
WHER..eAS, It has pleased Almighty God in His infinite
wisdow to summon our beloved classmate Joseph Darragh, there
fore be it
Resolved, That we, the class of '97 of The Pennsylvania
State College, in Committee represented, do thus express our
profound sorrow, and be it
Resolved, That we extend our condolence to his parents iii
their great bereavement, and be it further
Resolved, That a copy of these Resolutions be engrossed
and presented to the parents of our deceased classmate; and that
a copy shall be published in the State College FREE LANCE..
