If this is a Technical College, why does not some tech
nical fellow write a technical article? And how can a paper
he published by the student body, if the student body does
not contribute material for its publication.
As one of our former Editors said, "there is positively
some excellent literary talent lying dormant among us which
needs but the touch of ambition to put it into life." And
we can but exclaim with him,—"Wake up! fellow students
and lend a helping hand."

lessness, or carelessness.

still soundly sleeping, when there was a great noise in the
hall, and the Critic awoke with a start.
