the hard luck. which has pursued us the larger part of the season,
we should feel proud of the work of our team and hope for a day
when it can do itself justice. The game with Yale, played under
conditions less closely connected with the hospital, would surely
have had a different ending.

TOOTHPICKUMBLER GAME.
TH' gathe this year between the Toothpicks and Tumblers
promised to be one of tintsUal interest because at last year's
ganie neither side scored. It was a fine day for foot ball
and a large crowd was assembled on Beaver Field.
Both teams were in excellent condition. That they had plenty
of wind was evident by the amount of kicking which they did.
The game was full of long runs, the most notable of which were
those of Schnure and Smith.
