BF. K]LLER, '76, visited the college recently. Mr. Keller, /-'• who has the degree of L.L. B. from Columbia University, is a very prominent as well as successful lawyer of West Virginia, and at present is prominently spoken of as Republican candidate for Congress in the Third district of that State. James L. Hamill, Esq., 'Bo, an attorney from Welch, West Virginia, recently spent a few days at the College. Mr. Hamill is a Regent of the University of West Virginia. J. C. White, 'B2, sent a check for $2543 to be given to the Alumni Athletic Endowment Fund. George McKee, 'BB, is spending some time at his home, State College. 3. T. Shields, '92, is mentioned in a book recently published, entitled Who's Who in America. This book gives short sketches, of all important personages in America. Ed. P. Butts, '93, of Hartford, Conn., spent a few days at the college recently. M. i. McDonnell, '93, after receiving the doctor's degree at University of Kiel, Germany, received the appointment of As sistant Bacteriologist at the station. He has now resigned this position to accept that of Bacteriologist of the Pennsylvania Railroad Company. Charles S. Davis, who was a student here during years '94-95, graduated from Michigan School of Mines as a Mining Engineer and is now located about fifty. miles from City of Mexico, where he is employed as a chemist and engineer by The Mexico Venture Syndicate, Limited. Mr. Davis' address is El Oro Tultenango, Estado de Mexico, Mexico. Robt. M. Mathias, '95, is traveling in New York and in New England for an Electrical firm. H. C.
