RUCK NULL STATE ON the 24th of May, Dickinson met her third defeat in three weeks at the hands of State. This time it was in the first annual dual track and field meet between the two:institutions. State's track team, consisting of Capt. Norman, Pollock, Gill, Knox, Maxwell, Martin, Scholl, Cure, Bridge, Miles, Mott, Trainer Buchholz, and Manager Affelder, left here on Tuesday afternoon, and while they did not make any rash promises of victory, the general belief was that they would win by a small margin. Even the most hopeful supporters never anticipated such a score as 67 to 37. The day was a beautiful one and just such a day as would stimulate each man to do his best. The blue and white sky helped the eleven blue and white jerseys to offset the ever prevailing red and white of Dickinson, but as the afternoon progressed, an ever-increasing tinge of blue was noticed in the midst of the Dickinsonians. At two-thirty, with persistent determination to win, both teams appeared upon the field. The program was opened by the 100 S. Distance, 38 ft. zi3 inches Height, 9 ft. 61 inches. Second Height, 5 ft. 4 inches. Second SUMMARY. .4 .4 .4 STATE VS. DICKINSON. ads. 3 9 Points. 34 62
