Illinois Central is building between Fort Dodge, lowa, and Omaha, Neb.; Keenan being Draftsman for the Division Engi neer at Wall Lake, lowa. R. S. Moore is Inspector of Masonry, with headquarters at Chicago; he has recently .had an increase of salary. The writer is Draftsman for the Engineer-in-charge of the Fort Dodge and Omaha R. R. at Council Bluffs, lowa. In the course of a conversation-with one of the higher officials, the other day, he asked how many men were coining from Penn'a State this year, and in response to a query, as to the ability of the above-named men, said they were highly satisfac tory and were better prepared than the ones from most any other college or university, which speaks well for the college, does it not ?
