The orations showed careful work in both composition and de
livery, and were well received. The commencement address was
also excellent and showed the orator's deep study in the national
and international problems.
The portrait, of Prof. James Y. McKee was presented to the
trustees by Willis McKee, '92, in behalf of his brothers and sister,
and that of Pitt 1,. McCreary, '7l, by Irvin P. McCreary, 'B2, and
a response was given by J. A. Beaver in which he spoke of the
lives of the two men.
