T N the game with Gettysburg here, on April 22, our team en deavorecl to show how, they won the games on the trip, but with better success, defeating Gettysburg by a narrow margin. Zrrors were on top throughout the game and the throwing to bases by our team was miserable, especially to first. All the throws to that bag being short, putting the first baseman at a dis advantage. While at first, thrown balls were stopped, batted balls were not so well taken care of, several finding holes in the glove. The infield at the beginning of the game was strengthened as regards its make up in the Susquehanna game, while the outfield was likewise affected. Farr and Miller did good work in the boxy Miller's appearance being greeted with great enthusiasm. Our bad inning was still with us. Can we not lose it somehow ? Had it not been for the brace taken in the ninth it might have caused trouble. The score being: STAT 4. Burns, s.s. 2b.. . Hayes, ib. . . Blair, c Johnson, m. . Miller, 2b., p. . Morgan, 3b. .
