the position of Deputy Secretary of Agriculture, has been ap
pointed Secretary of Agriculture by Governor Stone.
'9o. William B. Jackson has resigned his position as Chief
Engineer of the Staten Island Electric Light and Power Co. to ac
cept the superintendency of the Cripple Creek Electric Mining
Power Co., Colorado. While on his way to his present position
from New York he stopped a few days at the college.
'B7. W. F. White, manager of the Omaha, Thomson—Houston.
Eleark Light Co. spent a day in April at the College.
'9l. Arthur McKee and wife of Pittsburg spent a few days in.
April at the home of Mr. McKee's mother at the College where•
he received the congratulations of his many friends.
'92. C. M. H. Atherton has joined the Wilkesbarre base ball
team for the coming season.
'95. G. D. Green and R. B. Greer will receive the degree of M.
D. at the University of Pennsylvania this spring:

'9B. R. T. Strohm has resigned his position at Centrehill, Pa.,
and accepted a position with the Union Foundry and Machine
Co., of Pittsburg, Pa.
