HE completed schedule of the varsity foot ball team for 1899 will be published in the May issue of the LANCE. State has been placed with Cornell, Columbia, Lafayette and Lehigh by the management of the University of Penna. relay races to be held on April 29th. Although with the graduation of the Class of '9B State lost good men yet she has material left from which much may be expected. Captain Norman expects to make a good showing this year. The midwinter sports held in the Armory on March i ith were well attended. The list of entries was large and some good work was done by those participating. Martin in the pole vault showed up very promisingly, while Miles in the long runs showed up well. The addition of the three-legged race to the program was hailed with enthusiasm.
