C. B. Snyder—Compressed air, its adaptability to the trans
mission of power, with tests to determine losses in transmission
under different pressures, including experimental discussions of
economic methods of piping.
C. Stone—A study of refrigeration and ice making, including
the design of a thirty ton refrigeration plant and the test of an
ice plant;
COURSE IN MINING ENGINEERING.
W. L. Affelder—A microscopic examination of the rocks con
stituting the Pololith on the Campus, in order that, by a similar
examination made some years hence, the effects of the weather on
the various building stones of the State represented in the Polo
lith may be determined.
