The College catalogue for the year '9B—'99 will be out in the
course of a few days.
The Executive Committee of Land Grant Colleges and Experi
ment Stations, at its meeting held in Washington on February
3rd, voted to hold memorial services in all Land Grant Colleges
on the x4th of next April, the date of the birth of the late Senator
Morrill. The Committee also voted to invite Dr. Atherton to pre
pare a memorial address on the public life of Mr. Morrill, pertain
ing especially to his work in educational lines, to be delivered at
the next meeting of the Association of Land Grant Colleges.
R. M. Sallada, 'oo, injured his foot rather severely in the Gym
nasium several weeks ago. He spent several weeks at his home
in Jersey Shore after the accident.
H. N. Reichard, 'O2, has entered the Sophomore class at La
fayette,
Mr. Gerald Stanley Lee, Preacher to the College, will deliver a
lecture on " Rudyard Kipling " at the University of Michigan,
on February 23rd.
A local talent concert will be held early next term for the benefit
of the track team.
The annual mid-winter sports will be held in the Armory on
Saturday night, March i ith.
At a meeting of last year's base ball team held on Peb. 6th, H.
C. Johnson, 'oo,' was elected captain for the coining season.
What promises to be the best mask ball ever held in the history
of the College has been arranged to take place in the Armory on
Washington's Birthday. It will be held for the benefit of the
base ball team.
