ing facts pertaining to the FREE LANCE in iB9B:—The volume consisted of 347 pages of reading matter, containing 150,000 words, the equivalent of 300 Freshman essays. In all, 4935 copies were printed. If all of the sheets of paper used in printing these copies would be placed end to end, they would make a strip 18. miles long. The LANCE circulated in 22 states and territories. A dance was held at the University Inn under the auspices of the Adelphi Club on Jan. 28th in honor of the Bucknell basket ball team. The dance was attended by a number of Bellefonte persons in addition to a large number of the students. The music for the occasion was furnished by the State College Baud. The Thespians successfully presented " The School for Scandal " in the College Chapel on Friday night, February zo. On the following Monday and Tuesday, nights, they performed at Lock Haven and at,Bellefonte. The Mandolin Club constituted the orchestra for the several performances.
