On December 15th last, a very exciting game of foot ball took
place between the Sophomores and the Freshmen. For many

the Freshmen would earn the right to carry canes. Therefore, it
was a matter of no slight surprise when the Sophs held them
down to four points. As far as weight went, the Freshmen were
far above their opponents. Yet their team work was in no case
superior to that of the Sophomores.
