Mr. James Foster, of Sheffield, Alabama, has presented his re
port of U. S. armor plate manufacture to the U. S. Naval Board.
'9l. Thomas A. Gilkey, a draughtsman in the employ of the
Keystone Bridge Company, of Pittsburg, was married on Decem
ber 3oth to Miss Jennie A. Nesbit of Mt. Jack Son, Pa.
'93. Geo. R. Wieland has another article on the " Origin of
Pennsylvania Silicieus Mite " in the October number of the
American Journal of Science. He thinks it was formed as basins
of hot springs or geysers in the calciferous epoch.
