Miller, Jr. (Mathematics), is at State College assisting Prof. Osmond in the Physics laboratory, and tutoring. W. S. Montgomery (Elec. Eng.) is employed with the Edison Illuminating Co., of Chicago. E. H. Myers (Mathematics) is assistant principal of the Milroy, Pa., High School. P. F. Sellers (Elec. Eng.) is with the Buffalo General Electric Co. J. W. Simmers (Mech. Eng.) is back at the College taking a P. G. in Electrical Engineering. J. Thompson is working with the Baker Forge Co. at Ellwood, Pa. W. C. Whitten fMech. Eng.) is with a coal company in Phila delphia. W. R. Thompson is Mr. Eardner’s assistant at White-Crosby Co’s, works, Buffalo, N. Y. . F. K. Zentmyer spent the first week of the term at the College. Ex. ’97. A. S. McAllister, after a year’s absence, has returned to the College and has entered ’9B. State, 32; Gettysburg, o, Students, as a rule, are never very superstitious. Nevertheless, it is an acknowledged fact that whenever Governor Hastings witnesses the game, State wins by a large score. On Saturday, Sept. 25, the season was opened by a game with Gettysburg on Beaver Field. Governor Hastings was present and generously applauded every good play.
