He has been a Baptist Missionary in India for several years, but has been in this country since May. He expects to return to India about the end of this year. ’B4. Mr. M. Lowry is a member of a new law firm, Streeter & Lowry, at Scranton, Pa. ’9O. Mr. Geo. R. Meek, of Bellefonte, was a visitor at the College a few weeks ago. ’9O. Dr. W. I-I. Walker, of Mass. Institute of Tech., visited friends here a few days at the first of the term. Prof, Elihu Thompson, in a paper read before the National Electric Eight Association on “ Recent Progress in Electric Light ing, ’ ’ makes prominent and favorable mention of the work of Mr. C. M. Green, ’9l, on series arc lighting constant current machines. ’9l. Mr. Gilkey is a draughtsman for the Pittsburg Bridge Co., Pittsburg. ’92. Mr. Ralph L. Kessler was married a few weeks ago. ’94. Mr. W. B. Waite was married recently to Miss Beck, of Water Street, Huntingdon Co., Pa., where Mr. Waite is working with his father. ’94. PI. P. Dowler has been spending some time at the College. Besides working in the Chem. Laboratory, he has been coaching the foot ball team. ’94. Mr. Wm. E. Rebhun, Professor in the Butler (Pa.) High School, was married a short time ago to Miss McWilliams, of Natrona. ’95. Mr. G. B. Snyder has been appointed principal of the schools of Centerhall borough. ’95. Mr. C. W. Burkett is connected with the engineering department of the Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Co., with headquarters in Atlanta, Ga. During the summer he has Alumni Department. 62 96 32
