We publish the following communication without comment: DEAR EDITOR; Why is it so little interest is taken by the students in our military department? Occupying the position we do in our relation to the Commonwealth, why should this vantage ground be so neglected by the students. Look at the similar in stitutions of the South and of the West—the soldierly collegian is sine qua non to the success of society.
