their lives. The line men did well, but their work does not show
up as prominently as that of the backs. The playing of Walker
at full back was probably the best he has done this, season.
Painter and Albert were both strong as halves, Albert being
especially strong in bucking the tackles. Curtin captained his
team in good shape.
The Freshmen were outclassed in team work, but it is safe to
say with the material in the class they will undoubtedly have a
very strong team next year.

J. A. Dunsmore, ’97, has been elected captain of the football
team for next season.
Great improvements have been made in the chemical laboratory,
whereby many up-to-date conveniences are at the command of the
students.
The Press Club is now in a flourishing condition. Stationary
for press bureau work may be secured at any time by asking the
secretary, PI. H. Allen, of the Junior Class.
Cromlish, ’97, has been elected manager of the baseball team,
and the following members have been elected members of the base
ball committee: W. W. Greenland, ’96; Sellers, ’97; Meches
ney, ’97. Walker, ’9B, has been elected captain.
Two won, two lost and three tied is the record of our football
team this season.
