Entered at State College Post Office as Second Class Matter The football season of ninety-five has added materially to the reputation of State’s football teams. Although our scores with weaker teams have been somewhat disappointing, yet the season as a whole has done more to establish us as second to Pennsyl vania in the middle Atlantic States than any season has in the past. No one can dispute the fact that we put up the strongest game of college football against Pennsylvania on her home grounds. This game and the tie game played on Cornell’s home grounds excited considerable attention in football circles, and each was widely com mented upon by the newspapers of the Past. At no other time in our history have we received the recognition of merit that this season has gained for us. The unfortunate The Free Lance , The Pennsylvania State College. STAFF' Editor : H. A.
