Thu recent organization of the students looking towards a sys tem of self-government is certainly a step in advance. The question now arises, can we get a satisfactory system adopted ? There must certainly be some scheme that will work successfully and be much better than the present system of faculty government, which cannot be said to be either satisfactory to either students or faculty. Tet every man who desires to have the self-government system adopted give time and thought to,this end; and he who is opposed, et him get together his reasons and present them in a mass meeting. No satisfactory scheme can be adopted unless all obstacles are met and overcome at the start. The Free Lance , -STAFF' Editor; H. A. KUHN, ’96. C. W. I-lardt, ’97, ) J. W.
