5 minutes 51 1-5 seconds to 5 minutes 40 1-4 seconds. Thomp
son, ’96, lowered the record on the 220-yard dash from 25 1-5
seconds to 25 seconds. Much to the surprise of everybody, Price,
’96, who holds the college record, was beaten in the mile walk by
Taylor, ’9B.
