—The following men have been chosen by the commitee, Messrs. Atherton and Barnhart, to con stitute the glee club for the present :—first tenors, Quigley, Hausmann, Campbell ; second tenors, Waite, Kuhn, Harris E. H. ; first bases, McDon ald Roy, Thompson W, C., Atherton ; second basses, Barnhart, Gray, Banks. Changes may be made before the season is over. —Chas. M. Atherton has been elected captain of the base ball team for the coming season. Cage work has commenced, and prospects for a successful season are the very best. Some fine new material has been discovered among the new students while Atherton, Stuart, Mackey, Robi son, Mattern, Barndollar and Greenland of last year's team are still with us. 7 —The World's Fair exhibits donated to the Col lege have all arrived and are being arranged for exhibition under the direction of W. B. Jackson '9o. Owing to their great number and the bulk of some of the individual exhibits this has been quite a large job. Not having a large museum, the exhibits will for the present be separated, part being housed in the main building and the others in the engineering building. —One of the largest and most enthusiastic ath letic meetings for several terms was held on January 9. He has a large number of men in his employ, and is doing a very prosperous business. Ex-'B5. Thomas Greer wears a P. R. R. uniform on the Pittsburg Division, his run being "Day Express" and "Fast Line." '93. H. W. Mattern, of Warriors Mark, Pa., was a recent visitor to the College. '93. John Foster is connected with a lumbering firm in West Virginia. '92. M. J. McDowell is at his home, Milroy, Pa., recuperating after a long and serious illness in Baltimore, Md. , '9l. C. M. Green is now located with the Ells worth, Me., Electric Company in the capacity of secretary and manager '9O. W. P. Brew paid us a pleasant visit re cently. —All the engineering courses have been thor oughly revised with a view to increasing their standard. Extreme changes have been made in the Freshman and Sophomore years, all the cours es having been moved forward a term. This has given rise to a slight confusion and a good deal of doubling up. The standard of ad mission has not as yet been raised, but probably will be before the fall term opens. All the stu dents are anxious to see the new courses as they will be outlined in the coming catalogue. PERSONALS Ex.'9 . •'97. H. M.
