    '93. Frank Kyle will accept a position on an
engineer corps, and will be located at Honesdale,
Pa.
'93. Geo. R. Wieland will complete his course
in geology at the University of Gcettingen, Ger-
many.
'93. Fred Dale was in New York city, during
the naval review, attending the convention of the
2X fraternity.
Ex-'93. Chas: Eachus has accepted the position
recently vacated by Smiley '92, at Steubenville,
Ohio, and enters upon his duties at once.
Ex-93: W. R. Motz has been attending East
man B isiness College, at Poughkeepsie, N. Y.,
He may be found at . the World's Fair this sum-
'93. H. Edgar Greenwood has secured an ex
cellent position with the Baldwin Lecomotive
Works, and will be located permanently at Phila
delphia, Pa.
'93. Frank Orbin has accepted a clerkship un
der J. 0. Brown, of the Dep't of Public Safety, at
Pittsburg. Pa. He expects to return for the com
mencement exercises, June 14.
'92. D. M. Taylor, is now draughtsman in the
I'. R, R. offices at Lawrence Junction, Pa.
'92. Milton S. McDowell, may now be found
at the North Carolina Experimental Station, Ral
eigh, N. C.
'92. S. G. Crawford has charge of an Engineer
ing corps near Duluth, Minn. The corps is mak
ing a correct map of that section of the State.
'9l. Warren P. Smiley has resigned his posi
tion at Steubenville, Ohio, to accept

as chemist of a large iron and steel works at Pueb
lo, Colorado.
'9r. Hugh Hamilton Jr., who has been en
gaged in business in Rochester, N. Y., has sold
out, and is now engaged with The General Elec
tric Company, headquarters at Hartford, Conn.

'9l. Thomas A. Gilkey, recently completed a
clever piece of engineering in the erection of the
water works at Wilmington, Pa. Every one
speaks highly of his work. His head quarters are
at New Castle, Pa.
'go. J. B. Walker is here in attendance upon
his brother, Dr. Walker 'go, who is recovering
from his recent illness.
'B6. Harry J. Patterson is at Chicago.

'B2. James G. White, who has been engaged
with the Edison General Electric Company, at
Chicago, 111., is now secretary and director of the
Alton Electric Street Railway Company, at Alton'

cial capacity.
Lieut. John Pemberton, U. S. N., attended the
naval parade at New York.
C. E. Mason, of the Preparatory Department,
took in the naval review at New York last month.
Hon. J. M. Greer, Judge of the Butler-Law
rence district, visited his son R. B. Greer '95 re
cently. He expressed himself as much pleased
with the wonderful growth of the institution with
in the last few years. •
Ist Lieut. and Adjt. Leyden, 4th U. S. Infant
ry, paid us a visit recently. He was the first
commandant of the military department here, and
was much pleased with the efficiency and disci
pline of the battalion.
'9l. J. H. Yocum was with us for a few days
last month. He is an appraiser for the gigantic
Leather Trust now forming.
'9r. J. W. Fields is serving as assistant in the
Mineralogy department, during the illness of Dr.
