Every man seemed to work with better spirit. The rush line pushed every thing before it right down into Lafayette territory, and there, with the fine running of Aull and the tricky work of the men:back of the line, State Col lege commenced to score. Two touchdowns were made by Aull, one of which was turned into a goal. Another one was made by Fay. No goal, how ever. Thus the game ended with the score— Lafayette 4 State College 14. Thirty minute halves were played. Our team leaving Easton on Saturday, at 1.40 arrived at Bethlehem about 2. I'D. The boys were all feeling pretty stiff from the game of the previous day and as they strung out towards the "Wyan dotte," there was not noticed that exuberance of manner, so distinct twenty-four hours previous. The game with Lehigh was called for 4 o'clock. State College showed up about three-fourths of an hour ahead of time, but as all were sore from the game with Lafayette, they did not seem anxious to do much preliminary playing. While the crowd was gathering, there was much loose comment as to the probable result of the game. As a matter of course, they expected a walkover and the bet- ting ran anywhere on a score of from 4o to Go to o. The Lehigh boys were completely taken by surprise, as they had counted on an easy vic tory. The ball was kicked, pushed back and forth on the field, neither side apparently getting much advantage.
