facilities for Music, vocal and instrumental.
Language and Literature ; Latin (optional), French, German
and English (required), one or more continued through
the entire course.
Mathematics and Astronoihy; pure and applied.
Mechanic Arts; combining shop work with study, three years’

Mechanical Engineering; theoretical and practical.
Mental Moral and Political Science; Ethics, Constitutional
Law and History, Political Economy, &c.
Military Science; instruction theoretical and practical, inclucl
each arm of'the service.
Physics; Dynamics; Mechanics, Sound, Light, Heat, Electricity,
&c. ; a very full course, with extensive Laboratory practice.
Preparatory Department; Two years—carefully graded and
thorough.
