The Kitchen Garden. It is a mat
ter of xt.ouishraent that so many farm
ers appear' to be indiiTerent to the kitch

like celery, lettuce, asparagus, rhubarb

that are absolutely indispensable in their
season upon every well supplied table.
They are healthful, as well as palatable,
and no farmer should depiive his fam
ily ot an abundant supply of them.
Besides, the garden, if conveniently
located, as it should be, near the house,

of time, but offers a plice where many
