Coming. The "melancholy days" are
ccming, the. "saddest of the year," when
the forests begin toassume the sere and
yellow icaf. Soon, too soon, summer and
things belonging to summer will have
gone. Then winfer will be here. In
view of the anticipated approach of the
grim monarch of the N'flrth,- would it not
be wel to go ts Thomson's and buy a
suit of readv-made winter clothing?
A Question of Geography. Not
many days ago, the Ilollidaysbur," Stand
ard "picked up" the Dem. & Sent., for lo
cating Martinsburg in Cambria county.
This is brought to our mind afresh by no
ticing that the Standard locates Cherry
Tree as in Cambria county whereas any
body who knows anything about it knows
that Cherry Treo is in Indiana county.
But mistakes will occur.
