BALTIMORE, Feb. Z.
Only 500 head of Beef Cattle were received at the
Seale.. The principal purchasers were Baltimore
butchers. and prices showed a wide range, rules

to strictly prime Breves, a slight advance in the
better descriptions.
Hogs—Receipts about met the demand, but better
prices were obtained. inferior to prime live Hogs
eomnoinding Slit 75 to SU, au improvement of X. 4
lb. on nil grades.
Sheep—There were only- a few good Sheep at
market the hulk . of the offerings being very inferior.
