WONDERFUL SCIENTIFIC
DISCO VEltlr.—At the present time thoughtful
wands everywhere are looking for the revelation of new
And. iMportant discoveries in science, and when a theory
'l.Spresented claiming to have discovered new light and
't.ta have removed the veil of obscurity from a subject of
bite, hlghest importance, upon which much has been
written, it is proper that the claims of this theory be_
'presented and carefully examined and tested, which Is
'destined to transcend in importance to suffering human
tty, all other discoveries, the lightning rod and telegraph
not excepted. We hold that the human system is but a
galvanic arrangement, with its acids and alkalies, con
stituting the positive and negative forces, and that every
ntental.and physical manifestation, either voluntary or
havoluntary, is the result of this antagonism; that digeti-r
atm, circulation, secretion, and excretion are wholly at
tiibutable to the law of electrical influences; that the
nerves are, the conductors of ELgenuorrir. and that there
lea polar action established through the nervous system
which connects with every part of the body, establishing
and preierving a proper balance of the electricelement,
which constitutes health, and a disturbance of which_
calms disease:" that there are strictly but two conditions
tif disease—the one positive, the other negative; and as
ElUteittletay possesses these two inhereqt principles, it
will, if applied according to the electric polarities and
reqUirements of thosystem, arrest, or, in other words,
tairatrolize the disease by the restoration of proper polar
salon. We also assert that ell drugs takeu into the sys

_decomposition the latent electricity is set free, and that,
though the electrical polarities of the nervous system,
adi changes'are produced either Pr good or fir evil; that
in the Incipient stage ofdiseasc It may tend to equalize
the forces, and restoreharmony; but after the mile has
- become refractory, paralyzing the nervous communies

arresting the digestive action of the stomach and its
poiver of approbation. no internal process of medication
setts has; or ever can, succeed in removing the cause of
the disease, its only tendency being to multiply and com
pticate the symptoms.
On the contrary, IlLeararctre being the vital element
aeon which life depends, can be directed to ani'part of
the body, and oven iffter the vital fancilens seem rara-
