WO - NDERFITI, - SCIENTIFIC
Tir.... , DISCOVEILY.--At the present time thoughtful
minds everywhere are looking for the revelation of new
and important discoveries in science, and when a theory
is presented claiming to have discovered new light and
titan, removed the veil of obscurity from a subject,of
the highest importance, upon which much has been
written, it is proper 'that the claims of this theory be
presented and carefully examined and tested, whichis
.destined to transcend in importance to suffering human
ity, all other discoveries, the lightning rod and telegraph .
not excepted. We bold that the human system is but a
galvanic arrangement, with its acids and alkaliet, con
stituting thepositive and negative forces, and that-every
mental and physical manifestation, either voluntdry or
involuntary,ie the result of thisantagonism; that diges
tion, circulation, secretion, and excretion are wholly at
tributable to the law of electrical influences; that the
nerves-are the conductors of ELECTRICITY. and that there
is a polar action established. through the nervous system
which connects wittibvery part of the body. establishing
andpreserving a proper balance of the electric element,
which constitutes health, and a disturbance of which
ce,COMS disease; that there are strictly hut two conditions
of diseusaer—the one positive, thouther negative; and as
.114.zeranare phssesses these two inherent principles, it
- vritl,if applied Recording to the electric polarities and
requirements of the system, arrest, or.in other words,
.noutrolize the disease by the restoration of proper polar
action:, We also assert that all drugs taken into the sys
tem act strictly upon electrical principles; that from
decomposition the latent electricity is set tree, and that,
though the electrical polarities of the nervous' system,
all changes are produced either f us good or for evil; that
in the incipient stage of disease it nosy tend to equalize
theforces '
dad restore harmony; but after the case has
. become refractory, paralyzing the, nervous communica- -
tions. and changing the cons ti tueots of the fluids, tind
arresting- the digestive action of the. stomach and its
power of approbation. no internal process of rualicatiob
ever has, or ever can, succeed in removing the cause of
,thq disease, its only tendency being to multiply and coin
plieate the symptoms.
'On, the 'contrary, Etre:titian being the vital element
utton which life depends. can be_directed to any part of
the. bcidy: and even after the vital functions seem para
lyzed:possesses the potter of arousing, the derreeit en

this treatment is. that no time is hustle otperimentiog
avith,diSetse. By means of electrical test an accurate
diagnustals given at once. determining the locality and
character of the disease, and indicating the treatment to
be-pnivelal. The nutrients are perfectly under the con
tool of the operator. emci can be regulated to suit the

tion. All those who have long suffered from pedant and
